Last final exam of the term

I wrote my last final exam of the term last Saturday. I think I did well enough to get a B in the course although I wouldn't be surprised if I wind up getting a C+. At this point, I'm beyond caring about grades. Getting my undergraduate degree is the only thing that matters, mediocre grades notwithstanding.

There's nothing new and exciting to report. I've been tutoring a hockey jock in Calculus lately. What's frustrating is that he managed to get into the course without mastering basic algebra. The foundation of university-level mathematics, whether pure or applied, is still high-school algebra. I feel like I'm spending way too much time on doing refreshers on properties of exponents and fractions.

On another front, I'm coming home in two days. I can't contain my excitement. First order of business would be to drag my mother to downtown San Jose to have dinner at Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge. I have a craving for their Mango-glazed pork medallion with watercress salad on the side. That reminds me. I have yet to arrange transport from my place to Halifax Stanfield Airport. I should do that today.

Oh and I started reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last weekend. So far so good. I think I have a crush on Gellert Grindelwald. I bet him and the young Albus Dumbledore had lots of mutual jack off sessions when they were both in Godric's Hollow one summer.
