I'm thinking of the best way to say this. I guess I should just go ahead and say it. I want these two studs to fuck me on both ends!

I was bored earlier, so I tuned into CNN and watched a segment where Kyra Phillips interviewed Deepak Chopra about his latest book, Jesus: A Story of Englightenment. The guy is absolutely brilliant. He talked about the causes of the modern philosphical divide between the Western and Eastern branches of Christianity. He postulated that the Eastern Orthodoxy has been influenced by the travels of the apostles, or even Jesus himself, to parts of India, Central Asia, and the Far East. That's essentially what the book is about: the transformation and journeys of Jesus from man to Messiah (with some creative spin on what transpired in the missing years after his childhood and before his baptism in River Jordan) and the spiritual movements it created. Near the end of the interview, Kyra asked if he believed Jesus actually existed. He said he absolutely did and commented that the story of Jesus Christ was the most fascinating and inspiring tale of love and miracles ever told, but also added that people shouldn't venerate him because "when a teacher points to the moon, [one] shouldn't worship the finger." I thought that final bit was an interesting take on the Messiah business. I definitely should check this book out sometime soon.
